At Hole In One Lawns, we own the machines that build our projects. Our crews run Caterpillar compact track loaders, a Vermeer CTX160 mini skid steer, an excavator, trenching and sod-cutting equipment, and our own trucks and trailers. That means your project in San Antonio or the Texas Hill Country starts on our schedule, not a rental yard’s.
Caterpillar Compact Track Loaders (Skid Steers)
Our CAT track loaders do the heavy lifting on every build: demolition and haul-off, land grading and leveling, and spreading compacted base for paver patios and retaining walls, concrete patios, artificial turf and putting greens and sport courts. With pallet forks, they set stone, block and sod pallets right where the crew needs them.
Vermeer CTX160 Mini Skid Steer
Backyards with narrow side gates get the Vermeer CTX160, a stand-on compact tool carrier built for tight access. It digs planting beds and moves soil, rock and mulch for xeriscaping and garden installations, and it runs our trencher and other attachments.
Excavator
For deeper digging, our excavator handles footings for pergolas and patio covers and outdoor kitchens, retaining wall cuts, and grading for French drains and yard drainage.
Trencher
Our trencher cuts clean, even trenches for irrigation lines, drainage pipe and low-voltage wire for landscape lighting, with far less disturbance to the rest of the yard than digging by hand.
Sod Cutter
The sod cutter strips old grass and weeds at a consistent depth before new sod installation or turf, so the new surface sits level with walkways and beds.
Material Spreader
Our spreader lays gravel, decomposed granite and topsoil evenly across a job site for clean, consistent coverage.
Trucks and Equipment Trailers
Our work trucks, flatbed equipment trailers and enclosed trailer haul machines, tools and materials to every job across San Antonio and the Hill Country, and keep tools secure on site.
Why Owning Our Equipment Matters
Because the equipment is ours, there are no delays waiting on rentals and no rescheduling around availability. Every machine is maintained, ready, and run by experienced operators, which is how San Antonio’s 2025 Best Landscape Designer keeps design-build projects on schedule from demo to final walkthrough.
